Lady Gaga Wore Michael Jackson's Clothes While Producing Her New Album
Last autumn, Lady Gaga purchased a number of Michael Jackson's tour costumes at Julien's auction. (News) She vowed to take the best care of these mementos and never to use them in videos, performances, or on stage. She has recently revealed that she wore some of Michael Jackson's undershirts while working on her new album "ARTPOP." She says she feels something from these garments, perhaps expecting Michael Jackson's magic to seep from the undershirts into her songs.
She recently told Ryan Seacrest on On Air:
"The idea was to preserve the clothes for Michael, and I actually don't want to wear them. They are Michael Jackson's clothes. But the undershirts — I wear them when we're mixing a song and doing the final touches. I feel something from inside these clothes. I gave one of the undershirts to his godson (?) and he was thrilled. I really think you can feel things from clothes."
