Howard Mann, a former business partner of Katherine Jackson, who was ordered on Tuesday to pay a $2.5 million fine to the Michael Jackson Foundation, told CNN that he provided the AEG company emails to the Los Angeles Times. This admission contradicts what the company’s lawyer had said—that they had solid evidence showing that the leak was done by Katherine and her lawyers. This admission is very important because the company filed a lawsuit against Katherine in court and, due to the leak of information, asked for a cash fine and to prevent the Jackson family from using these documents in court. Kevin Boyle, one of Katherine’s lawyers, said in a statement: "Today we learned that Howard Mann was responsible for the leak of information, and that Katherine, Prince, Paris, Blanket, or their lawyers never provided any of the documents in the case file to him."
