GoonRock’s Eagerness to Work on Michael Jackson’s Songs
GoonRock (from LMFAO) says that if Will.I.Am (from Black Eyed Peas) decides to release their joint songs with Michael, he expects this old classmate to include him in the process of producing the tracks, because he has always had a dream of collaborating with the King of Pop.
In the final years of Michael’s life, he recorded several songs in collaboration with Will.I.Am. After Michael’s death, Will said he wouldn’t release these songs because Michael is no longer here among us to finalize the tracks. However, he recently announced that if Catherine, Michael’s mother, wants it, he is willing to release these songs.
Both GoonRock and Will attended the same high school in Los Angeles. GoonRock knows that if Catherine Jackson gives the order, Will will go to the studio and get to work—and he wants to be there too.
“It would be amazing. Michael Jackson had a huge influence on me and RedFoo (RedFoo: the son of Barry Gordy, founder of Motown). When we were kids growing up, Michael was the only thing we talked about. He went to all of Michael’s concerts, and once when we were in sixth grade, he brought me his autograph. Working on his songs is a dream for me.”
