Prosecutor: Conrad Murray Threatens Public Safety

You read that Conrad Murray, the doctor who is serving time in prison for Michael Jackson’s involuntary manslaughter, has asked the appeals court to release him.

David Walgren, the prosecutor in Michael’s murder case, warned about this after learning of it. He says Murray’s behavior shows no sense of remorse or regret. In other words, the prosecutor believes Murray cannot understand that he took a human life and must be punished. Therefore, there is a possibility that if he is present in society again, he will repeat the same act.

He also said that if Murray were released on parole, there would be a risk of him fleeing by air, because with the cancellation of his medical license in California and his being tried in the same state, the ties between him and California have been severed. Walgren also said that the items Murray cited in his petition are fake and lack credibility.
