David Gest: Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston Were in Love (Video)

After the concert, I talked to her and told her to work on her voice with a singing teacher.”

Gest also talked about his concerns and Whitney Houston’s inner sadness:

“She didn’t think she was beautiful. She didn’t have that image of herself, and that bothered her. She never realized how beautiful and talented she was.”

Kevin Costner, Whitney’s co-star in The Bodyguard, had also mentioned this in his speech during Whitney’s funeral:

“She didn’t think she was beautiful. In her view, there were thousands of flaws. She was a big star, but she thought she wasn’t good enough.”
