David Gest and a Documentary About Michael Jackson

David Gest (David Gest) and Michael Jackson were friends since their youth. He was also the former husband of another close friend of Michael’s, Lisa Marie Minelli (Oscar-winning actress). Gest made a documentary titled “The Real Michael Jackson,” and last Thursday he screened it for a limited group of people, including Smokey Robinson, as well as Michael’s mother Katherine and his brother Tito Jackson, at the Alfred Hitchcock Hall in Universal Cinema. He plans to release this documentary in the UK as well. Roger Friedman, quoting people who have seen the documentary, wrote: "It’s a good film, mostly because it contains rare footage and photos of Michael and his brothers as teenagers." Gest says that Universal bought the rights to produce and distribute the film’s DVDs, and BBC World has signed a contract for its exclusive broadcast. He says: "This film is more than a documentary. It’s an epic film, and the most outstanding work I’ve ever seen in my life!" Source: eMJey.com / showbiz411.com
