Kenny Ortega Is the Prosecution’s Witness Today

TMZ says that in today’s court session, Kenny Ortega—the director of the film This Is It, which was made from Michael’s rehearsals for his final concert—will be present. The news agency says Ortega’s undisclosed details for Dr. Murray, the doctor accused of the Pop King’s murder, could be dangerous. Ortega will say that on June 19, just six days before his death, Michael complained about his low body temperature and feeling cold, along with shaking and an inability to perform—so rehearsals were canceled that day. The next day, June 20, an emergency meeting was held at Michael’s home with Kenny Ortega, Dr. Murray, and people from AEG—the company responsible for staging the concerts. Ortega described the discussions raised in that meeting as intense, loud, and full of arguments. That day, Ortega begged Michael to take better care of himself because the tour start was close. Ortega says that during the meeting, Dr. Murray said “terrible things,” showing that he was not concerned and did not respect Michael. Ortega’s undisclosed remarks could be damaging for Murray. Ortega also says that on June 23 and 24, Michael showed up for rehearsals as if he were in his younger days, surprising everyone. Ortega’s testimony is important because the prosecution will conclude that Michael was healthy and well before Murray injected him with his deadly drugs. Source: eMJey / TMZ
