Hollywood Tonight becomes a single
Teddy Riley, one of the producers of Michael Jackson’s new album released to the market last December, said on Twitter that “Hollywood Tonight” will be the second single from Michael’s album after “Hold My Hand.”
The song was written by Michael during the sessions for his last studio album “Invincible” in 2001. In 2007, Michael pulled it out of his vault so he could work on it with the producer, his nephew. “Hollywood Tonight” is the second track from Michael’s album, and its vocal part was written by Teddy Riley and performed by Taryl, Michael’s nephew.
“Hold My Hand” was the 55th Michael song in the UK over 40 years that was heading to the top of the charts. The album “Michael” also broke the record for the speed of Michael album sales in this region of the world after the album “Dangerous” in 1991. In its first week of release, the album “Michael” reached Platinum status in the UK.
