Mizraho Still Defends Michael

Thomas Mesereau, the 60-year-old senior attorney for Michael Jackson, was in court in 2005, during which Michael was acquitted of charges of sexually abusing a boy. Over the years, Thomas Mesereau has consistently insisted on Michael Jackson’s innocence. Recently, in an interview with CNN, he said that the complainants were seeking to profit and extort money from his former client.

Speaking about Michael Jackson, Mesereau said:

“He was a very kind-hearted, noble, sensitive, and perceptive artist, and truly believed he could improve the state of the world. He attracted the users one after another. Loneliness, isolation, and insecurity surrounded him. The most cruel thing they did to him was to keep children away from him and stir them up against him.”

Mesereau also criticized the media’s bias in how court news was covered, saying that instead of stating facts, they tried to inflame emotions against Michael.

“They made a mountain out of a molehill. They made everything look critical, shocking, and confusing.”

Mesereau added that from the beginning he believed he would win this case.

“All along, I knew we were going to win.”
