A Tour Concert for a Great Angel

Carlos Santana, the Mexican guitarist, dedicated his new concert—performed at London’s O2 Arena—to “a great angel, Michael Jackson.” Michael was supposed to hold his This Is It concerts at the same venue starting in July 2009, but with his death, it didn’t happen.

Santana had played guitar on Michael Jackson’s song “Whatever Happens” from his 2001 album Invincible. He has sold more than 80 million copies of albums and was inducted into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame. He is the only artist who has achieved a record matching Michael Jackson’s—who won eight Grammy Awards in a single night.
