Family Films in Catherine’s Hands

TMZ says Catherine Jackson has signed a contract with Howard Mann to use family videos to create films related to Michael.

Mann had previously announced that he intends to release new songs from the Jackson brothers. He is also the publisher of Catherine’s new book written for her son Michael. It has been reported that he has also bought the copyright to the images recorded by Mark Schaffel, Michael’s business partner.

The Michael Jackson Foundation has exclusive rights to use his name and logo, and the foundation’s lawyer said that if needed, they will stand up to Mann through legal means. Mann believes there won’t be any problem with his films because Catherine and Michael’s children are also partners in the profits.
