Judge Rules Against AllGood

A $300 million claim by the company AllGood against the Michael Jackson Foundation was dismissed by a federal judge.

The company claimed that Michael’s manager, Frank Dileo, signed a contract with them stating that Michael was required to attend a family concert arranged by the company before every live performance. After the announcement of Michael’s concert tour titled This Is It in March last year, the company filed a lawsuit against Michael and the company holding his concerts.

On Tuesday, the judge ruled that the fraud claim raised by the company is baseless. The only part of the company’s lawsuit that remains actionable is the allegation of breach of contract, and the Michael Jackson Foundation says Frank Dileo had no authorization to sign the contract on Michael’s behalf.
