Thriller Live extended

Thriller Live is a musical theater show based on Michael Jackson’s songs and the Jackson 5 group, which has been on stage in London since January 21, 2009. The Thriller musical has been performed in London, Germany, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia since 2006, but in 2009 it entered the professional West End theater in London for the first time.

In 2007, Michael secretly went to watch this musical at the Apollo in London, and according to theater staff, he enjoyed every moment of it.

In this show, three boys play the role of Michael. They were selected from among several hundred boys who volunteered for the role. To choose the actor for Michael’s part, director Gary Lloyd had to find a boy who could both dance, sing, and act. The show is produced and developed by Adrian Grant.

Now, due to audience demand, the theater has extended the run of this show until January 9, 2011. The show is staged at the Lyric Theatre in London and is part of the West End productions. Thriller Live has also been well received by critics, who described it as entertaining and fun. After Michael’s death, his brothers Tito, Jackie, and Marlon went to watch this theater and met the show’s actors.

The Thriller musical is a tribute to the years of Michael’s music career and the Jackson 5 group.
