Auction of the This Is It pants

The orange pants that Michael wore during rehearsals for his This Is It concerts will be sold at an auction on May 20 along with some other memorabilia. These items are being sold by Nate D. Sanders.

A few photo pieces showing Michael wearing these pants while rehearsing on stage, along with a document-like note, are attached to the pants. The note belongs to one of Michael Jackson’s bodyguards and states:

“This letter is a document that shows that the pants you have are the same ones that Michael Jackson wore in the film This Is It. I was one of Michael Jackson’s personal guards from June 2, 2009 until the day he died on June 25. During this time, he personally handed these pants to me.”

A pay receipt that also confirms he was employed by Michael is attached to this letter.
