Request to Revoke Murray’s Medical License

On Tuesday, the California Medical Board—which is responsible for protecting the public from dangerous, incompetent, and harmful doctors—asked the Los Angeles court that, while Conrad Murray’s case for the murder of Michael Jackson in this state is ongoing, he should not be allowed to practice medicine in this area. In the board’s petition, its lawyer wrote: “Murray injected Michael Jackson with a lethal amount of propofol along with other medications. In prescribing such a dangerous drug to Jackson, he acted irresponsibly, which shows a major lack of judgment and discernment, and his license to prescribe should be revoked to protect the public from future harm.” Source: eMJey / LA Times
