Michael’s Lawyers Seek Payment

Michael Jackson’s will lawyers and executors, along with a team of attorneys, on Tuesday submitted a request to the Los Angeles court to receive the compensation they are owed for several months. These individuals, since Michael’s death in June of this year, have not received any payment so far. The filing states that the financial administration of Michael Jackson is more like running a business with a huge capital base, and that if these people do not receive their fees soon, they will soon face serious financial problems in their own lives. According to the court documents, these individuals worked 14 hours a day handling Michael’s finances. John Branca and McClain have managed to collect several hundred million dollars in income for Michael’s three children, his heirs, during the six months since his passing. Branca has requested that 5% of this income be paid to them as attorneys’ fees. Of course, he has not personally requested compensation for managing the legal team. This 5% is expected to be paid to several companies handling Michael’s affairs, including the company representing his children.
