Reviewing the cost of Michael’s memorial

The Los Angeles City Council is considering the $3.2 million cost of Michael’s memorial on July 7 this year. This expense is related to police manpower, traffic control, and similar items. On the other hand, a new investigation shows that the memorial brought $4 million in revenue to the city by bringing in passengers to the city and driving up hotel and restaurant prices. The city’s representative has asked AEG to pay $3.2 million to the municipality, but the council may decide that the company does not have such a duty. Source: eMJey / AP
