A charity event for Michael’s portrait

Today, the team behind “Collecting one million dots for Michael’s portrait” is set to hold a charity event in Los Angeles. As you know, after Michael’s death, a plan to draw a portrait of Michael was approved. By launching a website, fans were asked to register from all corners of the world. For every person who registers, a dot of ink will be added to the portrait by the artist, David Elan. This collection of ink dots, placed side by side, forms an image of Michael’s face. Each dot represents a real person. To complete the portrait, the artist needs one million dots. Among the well-known supporters of this project are Diana Ross, Goldies Knight, and Mickey Rooney. Starting at 9:30 AM on November 24 in Los Angeles, the charity event will begin after the red carpet ceremony. Sixty students from three public schools in the city have been invited as honorary guests to walk on the red carpet alongside the guests and each will become the owner of a dot from this portrait. Tatiana Evonne Tumbzane, the girl who played alongside Michael in the song The Way You Make Me Feel, the famous Michael look-alike E. Kasanova, and several people from the This Is It concert team are among the guests. The event will be capped off with a special screening of the film This Is It. Tatiana Evonne says: “Michael considered the most important things in this world to be children and the Earth. We have a duty to value both of them and to take care of them. I’m honored to take part in this event, because I’ve always had these concerns.” Jerry Biederman, the executive in charge of this project, says: “Michael took buses full of disadvantaged or sick children to Neverland so they could have fun there.
