Boston University Pays Tribute to Michael

Last Friday, October 2, 250 students from Boston University watched their fellow students perform Michael’s songs onstage. Two DJs and several New York groups also performed at the event. On that day, a dance competition was held and prizes were awarded to the winners.

The director of the university’s music group says that after Michael’s death, they decided to hold a tribute celebration. But why?—Jennifer Brown continues: “I don’t know anyone who doesn’t enjoy Michael Jackson’s music.”

A university spokesperson said the memorial event brought students together: “Our celebration is an example of the immense impact the King of Pop has had on all of us.”
