A Bollywood Tribute Video for Michael

A Hindi newspaper, The Mumbai Mirror, reports that the top stars of Bollywood will pay tribute to him in a clip that will be shown on television on August 29, on the occasion of Michael Jackson’s 51st birthday. The video is called We Lived In His World. An unnamed source said the video is led by the Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and his company, Red Chillies.

Bollywood stars, directors, choreographers, and musicians have described Michael as a powerful, highly influential force. It is said that the video includes messages from Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and other Bollywood stars.

Shah Rukh Khan, who had met Michael closely, after his death said, “His youth was with the King of Pop.”

The newspaper also reports that A. R. Rahman—the composer who won two Oscars this year for the music of the film Slumdog Millionaire—wants to create an album praising Michael Jackson, whom he calls a source of inspiration.

In 1996, the King of Pop held a concert at a leisure center in Mumbai. Tickets for that concert were completely sold out.
