Designing New Gloves

White, sequined gloves! This is only one of Michael Jackson’s iconic features. And now, for the show-off factor at the London concerts, they are going to be designed by La Crasia Gloves in New York.

The concert preparation team has sent the company—based in New York—Michael’s right-hand glove sizes and specifications. One of the company’s employees says they send the gloves in different designs to Michael so he can choose one from among them.

The company prepares and sells 60,000 pairs of gloves for public use each year. In addition, it also receives special orders from stars such as Madonna. Gloves made by this company have also been used in films—such as the tall gloves Kate Winslet wore in the famous Titanic movie, or the gloves Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman.
