Will.I.Am, a star of the Black Eyed Peas, was shocked to see Michael in front of his house. Raised in one of the poorer neighborhoods of Los Angeles, William had made Michael his idol during his upbringing. Will.I.Am hosted Michael at his home so they could produce the song Pretty Young Thing, which was released this year on the Thriller 25th album: "We recorded the song in Ireland and then mixed it at my house. Nobody would ever think that one day they’d be hosting Michael Jackson at their own home. I grew up in East Los Angeles and I never imagined something like that.
