King of Pop Appreciation at BET Awards

Michael Jackson did not go forgotten during this year’s BET Awards, which took place on June 28, 2005. Singer/rapper Missy Elliot showed her admiration and support for the King of Pop by having a portrait of the great icon on the front of her jacket and those of her dancers during her performance of her new cut “Lose Control” with singer Ciara. Michael’s brother Tito also took the stage during the evening, to the surprise of all. He thanked BET and the fans for their support of the family during Michael’s recent trial and acquittal. Overall, it was a great evening for the King. Source: BET/eMJey
