MJ Exclusive Collection To Be Auctioned

(۲۳-۶-۲۰۱۲) Another auction of MJ memorabilia is set to be auctioned off on July ۳, ۲۰۱۲ in in Bonhams, Knightsbridge forthcoming Entertainment Memorabilia sale. Included in the auction will be a trademark military-style jacket, custom-made and tailored by Dege & Skinner, Saville Row. It features the original costume label inside the pocket, typewritten Michael Jackson and dated ۲۰th September ۲۰۰۵. Jackson was photographed wearing an identical jacket during his meeting with the King of Bahrain in ۲۰۰۵. The piece will be offered with a pre-sale estimate of £۸,۰۰۰ - ۱۲,۰۰۰. The jacket is just one of the highlights of ۴۰ lots related to Jackson in the auction. The rest is a wide range of Michael Jackson clothing, accessories and memorabilia. "Michael Jackson was an iconic artist and interest in his incredibly successful career and related memorabilia has continued to grow in the three years since his tragic death. We are delighted to offer such a varied collection of material in our forthcoming sale, including numerous pieces from Michael's personal wardrobe, never before seen at auction," Katherine Williams, Bonhams Senior Entertainment Specialist said. Also included are two of Jackson's trademark fedora hats, one black and one white, which are estimated at £۲,۵۰۰ - ۳,۰۰۰ and £۳,۰۰۰ - ۳,۵۰۰ respectively. The black fedora was worn during the late ۱۹۸۰s and was signed and dated by Michael to the brim. The fedora still has a smudge of the King of Pop's makeup on the underside. Also being offered at the auction are an unusual pair of casts of Michael Jackson's hands, accompanied by an invitation to the exclusive premiere of Michael Jackson's Dangerous at the Savoy Hotel on ۲۰th November ۱۹۹۱ when they were obtained (estimate £۵۰۰ - ۷۰۰).
