1月27日金曜日の夜、マイケル・ジャクソンのロサンゼルスでの「イモータル・ツアー」が子供たちの立会いのもと開幕した。ツアーは8月14日まで市内に滞在する。

プリンス、パリス、ブランケットはすでにカナダとラスベガスでこのツアーの開幕に立ち会っていた。

このツアーは、チャイニーズ・シアターでコンクリートの銘板にマイケル・ジャクソンの手形と足形を刻む儀式の翌日に始まりました。

レッドカーペットを歩いたセレブたちの中には、全身レザーの衣装を着た女性歌手リアーナもいた。

Michael’s children, as always, appeared on the red carpet with pride.

Once again, Prince wore a Jacksons-themed outfit, just like the Thursday ceremony in Hollywood. This outfit belongs to the clothing line of the Jackson brothers, which was launched by Jackie, Tito, and Marlon after Michael’s passing. This line also offers the Thriller jackets and the Michael “Beat It” jackets.

The ceremony was held at the Staples Center—where on July 7, 2009, we witnessed the memorial ceremony for the King of Pop. According to official reports, 1 billion people around the world watched that magnificent event. It has been reported as the most-watched live program in television history.

In relation to the presence of Michael’s children, the dailymail news agency wrote:

His brother, Prince, with the same calm and cool look as always—his signature feature, the headphones—had not been forgotten.

Jackie and Tito Jackson were also present at the opening, and alongside Jamie King, they took photos.

Since the Immortal Tour was reopened in October 2011, it has hosted more than 600,000 people at its shows. The tour opened in Montreal, Canada, and then went on to Las Vegas.

Later this year, the tour will head to Europe and then to Asia. It has been announced that London on October 12 will host the first European show of Cirque du Soleil at the O2 Arena. Michael was supposed to hold his This Is It tour at this same venue. Then, during the months of November and December, Cirque du Soleil will perform in a number of European cities.

From today, fans can buy tickets for the European shows.
