Lovely Way has recently been re-produced by Mark Ronson, though it was originally made years ago. Ronson says: “They gave me a Michael vocal to work on. I never met Michael for this song. Something about it is in the vein of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John and Imagine by John Lennon.”

It’s also been said that one or both songs that Michael recorded in 2007 with will.i.am will be included on the album. These two tracks are called I’m Dreamin and The Future. There’s no official confirmation yet, but John Branca had previously said that songs produced by will.i.am would be part of the album. will.i.am himself is fundamentally against this album. He previously said that when Michael isn’t here, you shouldn’t touch his work because it will never satisfy Michael’s opinion. Michael was a perfectionist.

Another candidate is Another Day, recorded in 2000 with Lenny Kravitz. After Michael’s death, only a very short part of it leaked. Lenny announced in January this year that this song would be released as the first single from the Michael album. He has repeatedly said that many of the songs he and Michael worked on never made it onto the album. Jerkins believes many of them are even better than the songs on Invincible. He cited We’ve Had Enough and Escape as examples.
