The Jackson Boys Appear in the New TV Series The Jacksons: The Next Generation
The Jacksons: The Next Generation is a realistic series about the members of the group T.R.I.T.E. T.J., Taj, and Taryll are three members of the group who are known as representatives of the second generation of the famous, music-loving Jackson family, although they were never able to match the success of their uncles, who brought Jackson Five to worldwide fame.
The group T.R.I.T.E. had been away from the spotlight for a while, but in recent years they have returned by holding music tours in different cities across the United States, and now they will bring a realistic series to television screens.
In part of the show, we follow the group members as they hold a camp outdoors with their cousins. Prince and Blanket are taking part in the camp and, naturally, they are shown in the footage.

Prince wrote on Twitter that he is happy to be appearing in this series.
"I’ve seen more scenes from the cousins’ show. It was really funny—though I’m the funniest of all. I’m happy to be taking part in this series."
T.J. Jackson, the cousin and legal guardian of Michael’s children, said there was no plan for the 13-year-old Blanket to appear in the show, and that the idea of including him in the camp was Blanket’s.
T.J.: "Blanket wasn’t invited to the camp by us. But suddenly he started packing his suitcase. In that situation, what am I supposed to tell him? That he isn’t allowed to come with us? He’s a member of my family, and he wanted to join us. He knew that filming was going to happen. People will see the kids’ happiness in this film."
T.J. says these kids aren’t supposed to feel surrounded by restrictions and rules just because they are the children of the King of Pop, and to think that their lives should be like that.
Of course, the promotional poster for the series places Blanket at the center like a star of the show, and the pose he has in the photo makes any viewer think of his father.
The first episode of this realistic series will begin airing on Friday night at 10 p.m. local time.
In another part of the series, we see Katherine Jackson talking with Taj Jackson. Katherine points out that people don’t have the ears to hear the truth.
"Hearing lies isn’t simple. I can’t say that I don’t get angry. It really makes me furious. People don’t want to understand the truth."
Taj says the Jacksons are a close, compassionate family, but people don’t know that because it’s not something that gets reflected in the media. He adds that he has a defensive attitude toward his uncle’s legacy and tries not to interfere in things because he’s afraid that the harm he might cause would be greater than the benefit.
Although the management of Michael Jackson’s finances is handled by his foundation, the T.R.I.T.E. brothers—especially T.J.—play an active role in the lives of their cousins’ children.
T.J. said that after Michael passed away six years ago, they told their grandmother Katherine Jackson in a meeting that, under any circumstances, they wanted to play a helping role in their cousins’ lives.
"When our mother passed away, Uncle Michael was there for us and helped us adapt to our new circumstances and get along with life."
Now it’s T.J. and his brothers’ turn to repay Uncle Michael’s kindness.
T.J. also talked about the children:
"Prince is now studying at university. He’s keeping busy with his own work and enjoying life. We’ve all been and continue to be supportive and encouraging in his studies. It’s still too early for Paris and Blanket to deal with being at home without their brother. They’re also studying at school. Their father raised them very well. They are valuable, lovable kids with pure, kind hearts."
"Caring for and looking after them takes a lot of time, and it’s something I do to the best of my ability—and I do it with pride. I just want my uncle to be satisfied. Since I lost my mother when I was 16, my uncle has been an important person in my life, and now I want to make up for it."
