Michael Jackson Foundation Presents: Special Show to Celebrate the King of Pop's Birthday
The Michael Jackson Foundation has announced that this year too, they will celebrate the King of Pop's birthday in their own special way.
The event will be held at the home of the ONE show by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas. The ONE show is built around Michael Jackson's music and dance.
On August 29th, a special event will take place with the participation of Foundation members, Cirque du Soleil members, Michael's collaborators, and a number of artists. At the beginning of the event, Michael Bush — Michael Jackson's longtime tailor and the designer of his iconic and memorable costumes — will sign copies of his book for attendees. Following that, attendees will witness a unique and exclusive performance of the ONE show, after which a question-and-answer session with Cirque du Soleil team members will be held. The ONE show will open with a performance of Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough — which is not part of the regular nightly show — and will continue with Stranger in Moscow and Thriller, two fan favorites in these shows. At the end, attendees will meet with Michael Jackson Foundation members and special guests including Travis Payne and the Talauega brothers, who are choreographers.
Tickets for this celebration are on sale here.
