Former maid: The media lies—Michael Jackson was a clean man
The sensational news agency TMZ on Sunday published a story on its page under the headline “Breaking News,” citing the New York Post, about three people who claimed to be former maids from Neverland. The article was met with mockery and disbelief from readers, which was evident from the viewpoints posted on TMZ’s news page. The daughter of one of the real Neverland maids responded to the article on her blog (maninourmirror), which you can read below:
“Yesterday’s TMZ article about maids who paint a very ugly picture of Michael Jackson—saying he wasn’t clean and that he had the habit of using the bathroom in different parts of their home—has left me beyond what I can imagine, and it literally took my breath away.
I told my mother, Judi Brisse (Judi Brisse), about this at the time, because she worked there in the mid-1990s, during the same period when Elizabeth Taylor and Oprah Winfrey were at Neverland. She was extremely upset by this article and the horrific claims made by her so-called colleagues. She told me that all of it is false, and that the house and the ‘boss’ were completely clean. My mother said that Michael was not only a clean man, but always respectful and kind, and that his humble, dignified behavior made him seem like a member of the royal family.
This is an example of the kind of people who, without honesty and integrity, will do anything to get money. Over the years, tabloid newspapers had contacted my mother and asked for dirty stories about Michael. She has nothing to say except good memories. Despite offers of money, she refused their requests.
All in all, it’s very sad that our society is so unhappy that it takes pleasure in watching others fall and responds to every mistake with violence. Why can people make up such filthy stories about a man who did so much good for the world and gave his heart and soul to every moment of his life? Is it because, unfortunately, it’s the only way they can feel better about themselves? And because it’s an opportunity to make money?
The truth is that these kinds of claims don’t tell us anything about Michael, but they reveal everything about the people making these statements—and about the society that swallows these stories.”
The story TMZ published, citing the New York Post, deals with the claims of three women who say they once worked at Neverland.
They said that if Michael saw pictures of the Jackson 5 (their group and his brothers’ group as children) in magazines, he would send someone to collect them from stores and newsstands, and then destroy them, saying: “They don’t deserve my name—cowardly drifters. I’m the only collector star. They should clean my shoes.”
These three women, who have not revealed their names, claim in their story that Michael threatened them with balls made from animal feces and urinated all over the Neverland ranch. The story also says that half-eaten roast chickens, fried potatoes, and empty bottles of wine and whiskey were left around Michael’s room, and as a result, bedbugs invaded the house.
Of course, the creator(s) of this story should have been aware that a bedbug infestation isn’t caused by contamination.
It’s worth noting that the writer of the New York Post article is Stacy Brown, who has a long history of writing articles against Michael, his family, and even his children, who are still under the age of legal adulthood. Publishing such articles in the New York Post has become routine, but it’s truly regrettable that TMZ referred to it as “Breaking News.” It’s unlikely that these three women are anything more than Brown’s figments of imagination—and it’s even possible they don’t exist. Brown previously claimed, citing unnamed sources, that Michael had sexually assaulted his nephew, the Crown. That allegation was met with a strong reaction from Taj Jackson and his denial. Brown has also written many stories against Prince and Paris Jackson, Michael’s children, including that the annual $8 million foundation is spent on their wasteful spending—despite the fact that this isn’t true—and that the monthly allowance for Michael’s children is carefully calculated by the court.
