Prince grew up at Neverland, so it is no surprise that he has a small zoo at home. His sister Paris, before leaving home, cared for several dogs, cats, and birds. Since she left the home last summer following her suicide attempt and was transferred to a hospital and then a boarding school, the responsibility for caring for these animals has fallen on her brother Prince's shoulders. The snakes Prince purchased a year or two ago have now grown larger and need bigger enclosures, which is why Prince decided to build cages for his pets himself. He keeps ten different snakes at home. Recently, other animals have been added to this home collection. The newest members are Sparta and Athens, two lizards that Prince recently introduced on Twitter.
Michael was also an animal lover and considered them, alongside children, his best friends. It is clear that his love for animals has been passed on to his children. Michael kept snakes among other animals and also had a pet chimpanzee. It is worth noting that a chimpanzee has not yet been added to Prince and Paris's zoo.
Prince recently posted a video of their pet parrot. The bird spends all day hiding in a corner of the room.
And this is the very same parrot that once managed to kiss Paris — and who knows, perhaps it hides in the corner of the room out of longing for her.
