Two weeks ago, a TMZ reporter approached Conrad Murray as he was leaving his home, and the former physician responded to questions from inside his car. He stated that he himself had been a fan of Michael Jackson and had probably loved him more than anything or anyone else.
Murray, a married man with seven children by eight women to whom he owes a significant amount in monthly support, added: "Michael would certainly be upset that his fans are judging me this way. Michael, if he were here, would tell them to look in the mirror — I'm not saying he didn't care about them, but he would tell them not to judge."
Conrad Murray, who sedated Michael every night for two months before his death using a dangerous drug and ultimately caused his death, continued:
"The truth is, I never harmed Michael. Michael still loves me just as much as he always did. I know that even today he loves me the way I love him. He was a man of love, just as I am a man of love."
And finally he promised: "I want to show the world who he truly was."
Murray was released from prison some time ago after serving only half of his sentence. He had been imprisoned for causing Michael Jackson's death.
