Few programs have been made about Michael Jackson that truly do justice to him and remember this great artist exactly as he really was. This important task was carried out by the television network "Iran Farda" in its program "Chamta".

The program "Chamta" on Saturday, 13 Mehr, featured a 40-minute documentary that examined the life and works of the King of Pop. While recounting events from his life and steering clear of media rumors, it paid a fitting tribute to him.In this program it is said:

"Michael Jackson's songs created public memories for the people of the Earth. Jackson's works, more than those of any other artist in the field of music and performance, came close to the concept of artistic creation. In addition to his unique singing styles, many of the dances from the past century have also been attributed to him."

"Michael Jackson's way of dressing was an example of unique artistry and completely personal. By using tangible signs from the clothes of the working class and mixing them with the grandeur and sparkle of the uniforms of soldiers and the nobility, he simply pinned his usual white gloves and socks onto the pages of the latest fashion."

"From his incomparable face and art, in the art of showmanship he drew more from pure performances on music stages than from anything else—so much so that the art of recording music with today's look and shape has been attributed to his efforts. Through his experience collaborating with major Hollywood film directors, he created music videos that all showed cinematic stories and acting. His attempt in this direction created another link of cinema and music, and brought about the first artistic looks at the music video industry."

"His humanitarian activities and his huge contributions to all kinds of charities, alongside his energetic and thrilling music, portrayed Michael Jackson as someone always present in the world's media."

"His name even made its way to the White House, and his success was attributed by people in politics to the realization of Martin Luther King’s dream and the manifestation of modern America."

"Following the worldwide fame of this legend of the art world, Michael's private life became a daily topic for newspapers and a story for the people of the city. And in the majority of his interviews with members of the media, again and again he spoke about the hard days of his childhood and his bad-tempered father, and he recalled moments when he had been there—alone and crying for long stretches. Perhaps it was this experience of a sad home and the work of childhood that led Michael to support orphaned children. In addition to his endless help to impoverished children in America and Africa, he had also gathered needy children in his own large palace and provided for their happiness."

"His life in the 1990s became entangled with strange and unusual side stories, and the media that once had been tools to introduce him to people around the world were now being used to spread baseless whispers and sacrifice a star for higher circulation."

"Those close to the matter know that the change in the color of his skin stemmed only from a simple skin illness, and it never carried those strange meanings and interpretations."

"He was accused several times of sexually abusing children, and of course each time he was acquitted by the court and the law. Still, however, the commotion caused by these rumors so deeply hurt his restless spirit and fragile nature that it was as if no bandage could work on his wounds anymore."

"In his last years, he was also involved in a heavy financial case—so much so that, with his loans being delayed, the U.S. tax administration seized his home and life. Michael, too, decided to arrange a new tour in order to escape this debt. In this regard, the advance sales of tickets for all of his concerts caused his name to be on everyone's lips once again. And it seems that this did not sit well with the taste of many, so that he would say goodbye to the living world with his strange death, which the judicial court called involuntary manslaughter, and become even more closely associated with the image and appearance of a legend."

"He is the best in many respects. The best entertainer in all of history. The most famous individual phenomenon. The most admired singer of his time and the kindest artist of the century. He has also been given the title King of Pop Music—a title that Michael himself did not really like, because he considered music beyond a style and genre, and he regarded such classifications as something created by the press and critics. Still, however, his efforts in shaping the popular music of America were very beneficial, and fundamental changes appeared in today's American music."

"Despite all the rumors and promotional talk, there is no doubt that the passing days of his goodness will be honored, and the masters of power and wealth who used his fame for their own personal interests will be judged by the people."

Chamta also, in this program, described Michael Jackson's conduct and behavior—something in the mass media that is accompanied by unpleasant words like "freak" and "abnormal"—under the title "Far from the usual," which is also the name of one of Michael Jackson's songs (Off the Wall).
