A beautiful and previously unseen behind-the-scenes video from Michael Jackson's "Black or White" music video has been uploaded to YouTube. In the video, Michael is sitting alongside a young girl, Sage Galesi, while a photographer takes pictures of them. Michael is in high spirits — joking, laughing, hugging and kissing little Sage, and telling her what a wonderful job she did during filming. Michael's love for children is unmistakable throughout the video. Sage played a Native American girl in the "Black or White" video.
Sage is now the lead singer of the group Sage and the Saints, and says that working with Michael was a turning point in her life.
She made the video publicly available on YouTube on Michael's birthday and wrote: "Happy birthday, Michael Jackson. I love you. The world will never be the same without you."
Michael also speaks in the video about John Landis — the video's director — and about Halloween. He says John causes trouble, then laughs and adds: "No, he's trying to kill me — he's a very good director." Michael then asks Sage what she plans to do for Halloween and suggests she dress as a cowgirl, but can't decide himself. Sage then suggests Michael should be a ghost.
