AEG Trial Session 88: Jury Deliberations (Day 2)
Brian Panish awaiting the verdict in court
Today the jury members began their second day of deliberations at 9:30 AM. They need 9 of the 12 votes to reach a verdict, and all 12 members are not required to agree.
The members rang the court bell once to request refreshments from their deliberation room. They then sent another note requesting eight notebooks and a ruler.
After 4.5 hours of deliberations, they went home.
One member announced that they could not attend on Monday, so no session will be held Monday, and the third round of deliberations will resume on Tuesday. This is not the first time during this case that jury members have postponed sessions for various reasons — from funerals to dental appointments.
