Michael Jackson Estate Statement to the Today Show

Wade Robson appeared on NBC’s morning program Today Show on Thursday to spread his own claims against Michael.

Howard Weitzman, the attorney for the Michael Jackson estate, sent the following statement to the program at the same time to be read on television:

"Mr. Robson, with insistence while swearing an oath and repeatedly—throughout his interviews over the past 20 years—denying this accusation that Michael engaged in inappropriate conduct, now asks us to believe that at least twice he committed perjury and that since the early 1990s, for all these years, he has been lying to everyone about Mr. Jackson so that he can now file a lawsuit for money. This lawsuit, whose purpose is completely clear, was brought to court four years after Michael’s death. His claim is shameful and upsetting."
