Celine Dion: Michael Jackson was healthy

Celine Dion says that when she met Michael Jackson for the last time in 2009, she never imagined he would die some time later, and after hearing the news of his death, she was shocked. Michael had gone to see Celine’s shows in Las Vegas, and she met him backstage.

Celine says: “I couldn’t believe that Michael came to see my shows. I was so, so honored. It was amazing, amazing.

He was busy rehearsing for the tour (This Is It) and getting ready. He was working hard, and you can definitely see that in the film (This Is It). Unfortunately, this was the last thing we saw of him.

I think most of us thought he was very sick and weak, but when I watched the film, I was shocked and saddened because he looked very smart and clever in the film, and he was in an excellent condition and was healthy.”
