Thomas Mesereau Defends the Jacksons: The A.G. Case Has Legal Merit
Thomas Mesereau, who successfully defended Michael Jackson in court in 2005 against charges of child sexual abuse, says that in the upcoming trial he will testify in favor of Katherine Jackson. He says he was placed on the witness list because the 2005 case will be discussed in this court. He says he will do anything to defend the former client’s “good name.”

Regarding the presence of Michael’s children in the witness stand, Mesereau said:
"Of course Michael didn’t want this, but he loved his mother, and I think he understood her need to have the matter clarified. I’m sorry that Michael’s mother and children are involved in this case, but this case is very important for them, and I fully support them. This case certainly has legal merit."
