AEG Trial Witnesses: Presley, Mizero, Lee, Jones and Prince (Updated)
ET Online reports that Katherine Jackson's lawyers are expected to subpoena Thomas Mesero (Michael's defense attorney in the 2005 trial), Diana Ross (Michael's friend and colleague at Motown), Quincy Jones (producer of Thriller), Spike Lee (director of the documentary Bad 25), Kenny Ortega (producer and director) and Lisa Marie Presley (Michael's former wife) to the witness stand. ET says it received the list of witnesses from the court.
In this list, the names of three of Michael's children, Conrad Murray, and AEG employees can also be seen.
The company's lawyers will also call Michael's children and mother, company employees, Kenny Ortega, and several doctors to the witness stand.
Prince, the singer, is another potential witness for Katherine Jackson's lawyers, though he is not expected to appear in court.
In 2007, he held 21 concerts at the O2 arena in London. AEG had promised him that no other artist would perform in that arena more than he would, but in 2009 they upset Prince by announcing that Michael Jackson would take over the O2 arena with 50 concerts.
