Paris Jackson in an Interview With Event: We Were in Love With Dad to the Point of Death
Paris Jackson, the 15-year-old daughter of the King of Pop, has recently given an interview to Event magazine, in which she beautifully talked about her dream of Neverland and her kind father.
Paris’s image is on the cover of the magazine. The photographer is Brian Smith, whose photos of Paris you may have seen earlier. Paris’s makeup was also done by Glen Nuttley. Nuttley wrote on Twitter: “Paris was great to meet and work with. You’re incredible. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos... Kudos, we had such a great time today.”

Paris said in this interview that once she reaches the age of majority, she will try to bring Neverland—her father’s ranch, where he hosted sick and poor children—back to its peak and make sure that Neverland continues to gently care for children as it did before. Paris talked about her happy childhood there and how sad she is about the big carousel at Neverland. She returned to Neverland two years ago to relive old memories, and said:
"I cried and shed tears. It’s a beautiful place. There’s still energy flowing there."
"I think Neverland should, as before, welcome children so that those who can’t have childhood can have a good time there and have fun. That was Dad’s goal—for example, children who are hospitalized. Another wish of Paris after reaching the age of majority is a tattoo of a romantic sentence addressed to her father on her wrist.
Paris says she inherited her father’s love of music, and that the King taught her to dance, including the moonwalk. She also talked about the memorial temple she built for her father in her own room.
Paris: "I have many memories of my father. He was an amazing father. We all loved him to the point of death. He had a special energy around him that made you not want to move away from him at all. She also talked about her father’s insistence that his children wear masks when they were little:

When Michael would go out with his children, masks were placed over their faces so they wouldn’t be identified in photos published by paparazzi. That way, when Michael’s children left the house on their own, people didn’t recognize them, and the kids could experience a normal life.
Paris spoke about Michael’s efforts to provide a normal life for her and her siblings, away from the controversy. She said, among other things, that her father used to turn hotel rooms into a home cinema using white sheets and a projector.
Michael’s wish for his children was a normal life, and Paris says:
"I want to experience high school like normal people. I’m currently under control and supervision, and I think if that control were less, I would have had a chance at a normal life. My friends are normal people. They don’t treat me like I’m MJ’s child."

"I want to pursue acting, but only during high school. After that, I want to go to medical school and specialize in heart surgery. I want to help people—that’s all."
Paris also confirmed that some time ago she met with her mother and went shopping with her in Hollywood on her birthday:
"When I’m with her, we don’t have bodyguards around us, which is really good. We went shopping in Hollywood. We bought from Amoeba Records, and we had a great time."
