Bruce Swedien, Michael Jackson’s loyal friend, has recorded a beautiful song in his memory. The song, titled “Timeless,” was written and performed with the collaboration of Scott & Michelle Dalziel, and was recorded in March 2013 by Bruce Swedien in his studio, West Viking, in Florida. Bruce is known among Michael’s fans as the recording engineer of his albums.

This song, which is a very emotional tribute to Michael Jackson, will be released on the album Another Roller Coaster. A part of the lyrics includes: “A star brighter than you in my galaxy will not be.”

Swedien, who has been the recording engineer for the best-selling album in history, Thriller, says he considers himself lucky:

"I’ve never seen Michael read the lyrics off paper. He always stayed awake the night before the recording and memorized the words, which was very interesting. I try to get today’s young singers to memorize the lyrics, but they can’t—Michael could. I don’t think the general public knows how serious and hardworking Michael was about music. Of course, ‘serious’ is a mild word to use for Michael. Better to say he was thirsty for music. I’ve worked with the giants of this industry, and I think Michael is their crown jewel. I guess if I don’t say these things, I would be neglecting him. How could I not say them? I was there in that sensitive period of history, in that particular place (the production of Thriller). I have to tell the story."
