Conrad Murray’s Girlfriend: He Won’t Apologize

Nicol Alvarez, Conrad Murray’s girlfriend and the mother of his young child, appeared on Inside Edition and said that Murray would not apologize for the death of Michael Jackson because he did not commit any wrongdoing. This is Alvarez’s first reaction since her child’s father was jailed.

On the show, Alvarez said that the moment Murray entered prison, he had thoughts of suicide: “Being incarcerated is like living in hell.” She also added that she visits him every week and talks to him by phone three days a week.

Alvarez, who has dreams of becoming a star, says Hollywood is deliberately ignoring her. She also claimed that she receives threatening letters. Alvarez had appeared in Murray’s trial last year as a witness; her behavior on the witness stand was so performative that it made the media mock her.

On the show, Alvarez talked about her boyfriend: “They portrayed him as the bad character in the story, and I’m the evil woman in the story. I was locked up in my own home for two years.”

Using the excuse that Murray had tried to stop Michael from using propofol, Alvarez called her boyfriend innocent and said he is not to blame for the death of the King of Pop.

“He wanted to earn rewards for being grilled. He’s sorry about his death, but if he apologizes, that means he accepts his mistake.”
