MJ Spectacular Fan Event UK October 14
(17-9-2012) In honour of the release of Michael Jackson's 'BAD25' album and the MJ Cirque Du Soleil Immortal Tour coming to London's O2 arena this October (12th-21st), a Michael Jackson Spectacular Fan Event will take place at the Indigo O2 Arena (London, UK) on October 14, 2012 (doors 12.00pm; show 1.00pm).
It brings together the very best Michael Jackson tribute acts, all performing on one stage for the very first time. All acts performing are super Michael Jackson fans, and the headline acts have at some point either worked with or been given the stamp of approval by Michael Jackson himself.
The idea is for Michael Jackson fans to attend this MJ fan event at the Indigo O2 from 1pm-6.30pm, and then to attend the Michael Jackson Immortal tour that evening from 8.00pm onwards at the O2 Arena (just a 20-second walk away; separate tickets for the Immortal tour will need to be purchased). The Michael Jackson Spectacular fan event is unique in the fact that it is a one-off special show and creatively designed with the Michael Jackson fan in mind. It is not just a simple 2/3 hour concert production, but more of a Michael Jackson Fan Day/Convention lasting around 5 hours.
MAIN HEADLINE ACTS:
NAVI - MJFC team member & the world's number one Michael Jackson impersonator will bring his “King Of Pop The Legend Continues” stage production to the event. He's the closest thing to watching Michael Jackson himself on stage. Navi is a well-respected performer and has been a professional impersonator for over 25 years. In the past, Navi has worked for and performed in front of Michael Jackson, who gave him a standing ovation.
SIGNATURE - Britain's Got Talent runners up and will also perform their fun and exciting MJ tribute show. Signature are now one of the leaders in the Michael Jackson tribute world, and at one point were being considered to perform at the Michael Jackson This Is It Concerts in London. Michael Jackson himself has given the stamp of approval to Signature in March 2009, where he stated, “I like what you do.. it's fun.” Signature have performed with the members of the Jackson family and have accumulated over 100 million hits on YouTube alone.
Other acts included Michael Jackson Eternity (MJ stage musical), John Moabi from London's West End Michael Jackson Musical Thriller Live, Urban Jokers from SKY 1's Got to Dance, Celena Cherry from the R&B group Honeyz, Rian Peters supported by BBC Radio 1 Extra, and many more.
The Michael Jackson Spectacular Fan Event is also in aid of London's Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital—a charity that Michael Jackson would support regularly when he visited London on his tours. Even though they will be raising money for charity, they have tried to make this event as affordable as possible for all fans, and tickets for this amazing event can be purchased from as little as £19.50.
