Michael Jackson’s children at the Stan Lee creator convention

Last days of summer: Prince, Paris and Blanket went to Comikaze, the annual Stan Lee comic convention in Los Angeles, and were met with the noise of the crowd and the film crew filming them.

Comikaze was in its second year. During the convention, Michael’s children took photos with Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno, a friend and mentor of their father in sports.

Blanket wore a T-shirt at this event featuring images of comic characters, including Spider-Man and the Hulk. Stan Lee is the creator of these characters. It’s clear that the three children of Michael inherited his love for this kind of books and films. Michael had bought full-size statues of Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, and the X-Men and Marvel vs. Capcom arcade machines. He had a great interest in collecting all kinds of items like this.

Michael was also interested in acting in Spider-Man films and X-Men movies.

The King of Pop and Stan Lee had a friendly relationship. He had even tried to buy the rights to show Spider-Man.

In an interview with MTV in 2009, Stan Lee said:

“Michael and I were friends. We had met a few times. One time he came to my house with his son. While we were talking, my wife watched my child for an hour. He was a very good father... I went to Neverland; honestly, I really loved Michael. He wanted a role in Spider-Man. I’m not sure whether he wanted to get it made or to play Spider-Man, because our conversation never went to the next stage. He thought I was someone who could help him with this, and I told him it wasn’t in my hands—he had to deal with Marvel. But we became friends... He was a great man.”
