The tracklist for Bad 25 is revealed

After a long wait, today the tracklist for Bad 25 has finally been revealed. This collection will be released on September 18.

The contents of this set include three CDs, one DVD, and two photo booklets. Regarding the second CD, which contains a mix of unreleased tracks and demos from the golden era of BAD, it’s worth noting that six of these songs were recorded in Michael’s home studio in Haynehurst. Three of the songs belong to the expanded version of Bad, released in 2001, and they include Je Ne Veux Pas La Fin De Nous, a Nero remix of Speed Demon, and an Afrojack and Pitbull remix of Bad.

Some of these tracks are so complete that perhaps any other artist besides Michael—who was constantly working to perfect his songs—would have considered them finished. Some songs are more complete than others. For example, the demo of Al Capone, which can be considered a prelude to “Smooth Criminal,” and “Don’t Be Messin’ Around,” which are examples of more complete demos. There is also a song that was originally called Song Groove and later became known as Abortion Papers. According to what we know, Michael spent a lot of time working on the song Song Groove so that its concept—which is very personal and sensitive—could be conveyed to the audience in the best possible way.
