Jacksons barred from entering Michael’s children’s home
The Michael Jackson Foundation has drawn a line and made it clear that it won’t tolerate certain things. In a letter to news agencies, the Foundation’s lawyer explained that from now on, certain members of the Jackson family who were involved in the recent chaos will not be allowed to enter the Calabasas home—or even walk on its grounds.
Over the past two weeks, the Jacksons have been at the top of the news, and the media has written about the greed of Michael’s sisters and brothers in trying to get their hands on his huge fortune. Family problems were broadcast around the world, creating a very ugly and unpleasant image of some people in this family in people’s minds. The story began with the writing of a letter and continued with news of Katherine’s disappearance, Paris’s tweets, the controversy, and then Prince’s statement—delivering the final blow. And now, the result of two weeks of chaos for Germain, Janet, Randy, and Rebbie is not at all pleasant.
It seems that this dispute has also reached the teenagers in the family, because Jafar, Germain’s 16-year-old son, recently wrote on Twitter: “I hate it when people bring their personal issues to Twitter. It seems their only purpose is to get attention.... In this world, those who seek the truth get into trouble.”
Apparently, this is a response to Prince’s statement and Paris’s tweets, which began a week earlier and demanded the immediate return of his grandmother to the home by his uncles and aunts.
Ronald Martin, a respected American journalist and friend of Marlon Jackson, wrote an article about the recent controversies in the Jackson family:
“A letter was emailed to me that shows that Michael Jackson Foundation attorney Howard Weitzman has barred certain members of the Jackson family from entering Katherine Jackson’s home and Michael’s children.
This letter was sent by Weitzman last Wednesday to Charles Schulz, TJ Jackson’s attorney, who is the new guardian and cousin of Michael’s children. Weitzman writes that, following the events of the past few days, it is necessary to prohibit the entry of a number of friends and family members to that home. He wrote:
‘Considering the events of the past two weeks, and in order to protect Michael’s children and Mrs. Jackson, the Foundation’s guardians believe that it is no longer appropriate for certain individuals to enter that home and the surrounding grounds, and we have instructed the security personnel to deny entry to these individuals: Randy Jackson and all of his children, Janet Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and all of her children, Germain Jackson and his wife and all of their children, Janice Smith (assistant to Katherine Jackson), and anyone who was involved in separating Mrs. Jackson from Michael’s children, or any person who represents or acts on behalf of the individuals mentioned above.
No security personnel or driver, except those hired by the Michael Jackson Foundation, has the right to enter the property.
Joe Jackson (grandfather) is banned from entering this property. Howard Mann (Katherine Jackson’s business partner), who is also involved in a financial lawsuit with the Foundation and helped draft the letter from the Jackson siblings against the Foundation, will not be allowed to enter the house either.
It is clear that Paris, Prince, and Blanket, TJ and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and their spouses, the Foundation’s employees, TJ’s employees, Margaret Ladayz, Michael Kain, Sandra Ribera, Perry Sanders, Trent Jackson, and you (Charles Schulz), and anyone TJ allows (except the individuals listed above) will remain in the house and will be allowed to enter.
From this moment on, providing a calm and safe environment for Michael’s children and also for their mother is a necessary and mandatory matter.’
Weitzman also wrote that if necessary, TJ and Schulz can bring this letter to the attention of legal authorities.
This letter does not mention Latoya, Michael’s sister, who had chosen complete silence during these two weeks. She had publicly asked her family to end the war.
It has been said that TJ requested that this letter be made public.
