Flash mob in the London Underground

Using Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” song is a great choice for a flash mob. The song is also frequently used during Halloween celebrations. Flash mob refers to group and spontaneous public gatherings. People spread the word through the internet, mobile phones, and other tools, and agree to take part together in a surprising group event at a specific time and place—such as a dance or a street performance.

The London Underground train has also witnessed a flash mob. Once, in 2008, passengers who were completely unaware were surprised by a Thriller performance by a few young people—and, at the end, they were given a big round of applause by the guests. Download.
