A New Michael Jackson Statue Unveiled at Madame Tussauds
Yesterday, the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong unveiled its latest wax figure of Michael Jackson.
This statue, which is considered the ۱۴th wax figure made of Michael Jackson, is being put on public display to mark the third anniversary of his passing. Michael holds the record for the highest number of wax statues among artists worldwide.
The figure is inspired by the poster for the This Is It tour, and for a limited time it will be displayed at the music icons museum in Hong Kong.
Keli Mc, the head of the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong, said in a statement:
"Michael Jackson is an extraordinary figure. That’s why we built our second wax statue of him in Hong Kong. We also want this statue to be our tribute to his incredible ۴۰-year career."
Since Michael has turned ۵۳, the museum invited ۵۳ fans of the King of Pop to attend the unveiling ceremony of his newest wax figure. These talented and creative fans brought a craft that represented the number ۵۳. The craft was made from sunflower flowers — Michael’s favorite flower — along with a collection of his CDs.
