Michael Jackson’s Son: “He Was the Best Father Anyone Could Have” (Video)
In the news, you read that Michael Jackson’s brothers; Jackie, Tito, and Marlon, will hold a charity concert in Japan on December 13 and 14, 2011, in memory of Michael. The proceeds from these two concerts will go to children affected by the earthquake in Japan.
There is a video available showing Prince and Paris recording a segment for MazoomaShi TV, a Japanese television network. In this video, they promise the Japanese audience that this concert will take place. The video was recorded three months ago, in November.
Paris: I’m Paris.
Prince: I’m Prince, and I hope to meet you in Japan in December.
Paris: At the Michael Jackson memorial concert.
Then the two of them took part in a casual and very emotional conversation with the network reporter:
Prince: I think it’s a great opportunity to share his art and music (Michael) and keep his legend alive.
Paris: I’m really excited.
Prince: He was the best father anyone could have. Because he raised us well, and nothing can make us forget him.
The video also includes a behind-the-scenes segment in which Paris gets confused:
Paris: Hi, I’m Prince!
(Group laughter — then Prince teases her.)
Prince talks about what will happen in Japan:
Prince: Visiting places, resting, eating the foods that are in Japan. I personally love eating.
Paris: I know you do.
What is Prince’s favorite Japanese food?
Prince: Sushi! (laughs) Well, of course, that’s the only Japanese food I know.
Sushi was one of Michael’s favorite foods.
