What Does 1998 Indicate?

In an interview with mjjmagazine, Michael Bush explained why Michael used the number 1998 in his signatures:

“Michael wanted the viewer to remember him in some way. He thought, ‘They might not remember my image or forget my signature, but they will never forget 1998.’ Psychologically, he would really get people involved. This number created excitement among people and added to the scope of the mystery.”
