A Shoggerfoot Christmas Note
You previously became familiar with Shoggerfoot’s writings on this page: Guardian Angel - Michaelology and Painting. He also made a song in memory of Michael Jackson: A Song.
Jonathan has written a religious note for Christmas, which you can read below. (Please note that because of its religious nature, this note only reflects the author’s viewpoint and not necessarily eMJey.com.)
“Enjoy the Christmas holidays. Keep the message of these celebrations alive in your heart and mind.
The first Christmas gift was a child from the Lord, who wished for us a happy time long ago, filled with love and kindness. That child was Christ—God gave him to us so that the world could be blessed through giving, love, and compassion. Without God’s kindness, generosity, and attention, there would be no Christmas. Never let Christmas pass without giving thanks. He was sacrificed like a lamb—may you find the path to salvation at the end of your life. This was the wish of the Ruler (God). The Creator’s sacrifice for you… for us.
And now, many years after that, we have benefited from His love and one more of His gifts (God). He was an example of goodness, kindness, and the dignity that humanity can reach… He sent Michael to us.
Just as He had sent examples to us before, to show us how we should live—not because of his abundant talent and genius, but more because of his generosity toward others, those who were not his family; they were strangers, yet Michael considered them part of his family. Freely, from his heart, from his mind, from his spirit, he gave to others. His humility behind the scenes coincided with his power, strength, and anger on stage. This is God’s destiny. Like Moses, Abraham, Joshua, and David… all the great men, chosen and admired by God. It is not greatness of humans, but greatness granted to humans by God.
He (Michael) may not have been a perfect person, and neither were any of the people whose names I mentioned. All human beings are imperfect, and only God is perfect. Although Jesus Christ is considered perfect.
We can be grateful for having a little boy who came among us to grow into a man and to show us a blend of man-child named Michael Jackson. (Let us be grateful) for the fact that throughout his life we witnessed his greatness—witnessed his kindness, generosity, the breadth of his humanity, and the importance he gave to others. So that our guiding light would lead us toward the right path in life—toward where we should love and pay attention to others.
May you and your loved ones be blessed by God this Christmas, and remember why we call these days Christmas. It is because of Christ that we celebrate Christmas and go on holiday.
Let’s celebrate Christmas with his love, kindness, and generosity in our minds.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas filled with love
One love for everyone, and everyone for one love
